SOSHO CHOKO, Inc., a new venture company at Osaka University, that produces and sells high quality nonlinear optical crystals Osaka-CLBO (CsLiB6O10) for next generation deep ultraviolet light (266 nm) sources is established March 1st as reported by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (日刊工業新聞, The Business & Technology Daily News (in Japanese)) on Feb. 26th, 2016. The program for photonics startups and productization at the Photonics Center supported to develop crystal growth technology of the Osaka-CLBO.
