2014年8月7日経済産業省宮本大学連携推進室長、近畿経済産業局関局長等がフォトニクスセンターを視察されました
 経済産業省大学連携推進室宮本岩男室長、田附千絵子室長補佐、近畿経済産業局関総一郎局長、平田省司産学官連携推進室長、吉武あやこ連携企画係長、及び徳増有治教授がフォトニクスセンターに視察に来られ、井上センター長代行らと懇談されました。
フォトニクスセンターの概要、光エコライフ事業、人材育成、起業・製品化及び千里丘陵（フォトニクスヒルズ）構想について意見交換を行った後、センターの入居企業、キャナリ開発・試作装置の見学をされました。
Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Tazuke from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Seki, Mr.Hirata, and Ms. Yoshitake from Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Prof. Tokumasu visited the Photonics Center. Prof. Inouye, Acting Executive Director of the Photonics Center gave explanations of the Photonics Center, the Photonics-based Eco-Life Technology Development Center, fostering of human resources, Small Business Startup/Commodification projects and Photonics hills concept in Minoh City. All of the members exchanged views on innovations created by industry regarding photonics. After the meeting, they had a brief lab tour in the Photonics Center.
2014年5月19日 小林近畿経済産業局長、佐藤経済産業省課長等 来訪：光エコライフ拠点視察・拠点活動などについて懇談
近畿経済産業局小林局長、経済産業省佐藤課長、近畿経済産業局高畠部長、河上課長、平田室長、吉武係長、経済産業省作本係長、浅沼課員、及び徳増教授・産連副本部長がフォトニクスセンターに来訪され、井上センター長代行ら、入居３企業社員らと懇談されました。フォトニクスセンターの概要や光エコライフ拠点イノベーション活動、さらなる拠点事業推進などについて活発な意見交換を行いました。その後センター内の入居企業及び共用実験室を回られ、フォトニクスセンターの活動状況を視察されました。
The director of Kansai bureau of METI, Mr. Kobayashi, the director of Academia-Industry Cooperation & promotion division, METI, Mr. Sato, Mr. Kawakami, Mr. Hirata, Ms. Yoshitake from Kansai Bureau of METI, Ms. Sakumoto, Mr. Asanuma from METI, and Prof. Tokumasu visited Photonics Center and had a conversation with the representative of executive director of Photonics Center, Prof. Inoue et al. and engineers working at the collaborating companies at the Center.They exchanged the opinions aggressively about Innovation activities of The Photonics-based Eco-Life Technology Development Center and ulterior operation. After the conversation, they visited the companies in the Center and common laboratories and inspected the activities of the Photonics Center.
2014年4月25日 経済産業省、近畿経済産業局の方々がフォトニクスセンターに視察に来られました
経済産業省から、藤江様、浅沼様、近畿経済産業局から、田口様、吉武様、及び徳増教授がフォトニクスセンターに視察に来られ、河田センター長、井上セン ター長代行らと懇談されました。フォトニクスセンターの概要説明及び産業イノベーションについて意見交換を行った後、センター内の企業及び開発・試作装置 の見学をされていきました
Mr. Fujie and Mr. Asanuma from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ms. Taguchi and Ms.Yoshitake from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Kansai Bureau, and Prof. Tokumasu visited the Photonics Center. Prof. Kawata, Executive Director of the Photonics Center and Prof. Inouye, Acting Director of the Photonics Center gave explanations of the Photonics Center and then, all of the members exchanged views on innovations created by industry regarding photonics. 2012年9月10日 経済産業省産業技術環境局大学連携推進課 大家 利彦 氏、徳弘 雅世 氏がフォトニクスセンターを来訪されました
産業技術人材企画調整官 大家 利彦 氏、および大学連携推進課 課長補佐 徳弘 雅世 氏が、光エコライフ技術開発拠点を視察されました。高原淳一センター長代理が、フォトニクスセンターの概要説明を行い、施設見学で入居企業を含む活動状況、人材育成状況を紹介しました。フォトニクスが次世代産業基盤のキイワードであり、第2センター棟の必要性を説明しました。
