We held the 44rd colloquim on 1st June.

We had the honor to invite  Ass. Prof. Nicholas Smith, Prof. Yasufumi Fujiwara and Prof. Yoshihiro Kobayashi who joined PARC last year.
And we also had honor to give the lectures on their newest researches.

Specially Appointed Associate professor Nicholas Smith, Immunology Frontier Research Center, Osaka University

◆Towards highly efficient wavelength-stable red light-emitting diode using Eu-doped GaN
Professor Yasufumi Fujiwara, Division of Materials ans Manfacturing Science, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University

◆Synthesis of nanocarbon materials without metallic catalyst and their application to biosensor devices
Professor Yoshihiro Kobayashi, Department of Applied Physics Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University


The lectures attracted a large audience and also brought active exchanges of ideas in the question period. 
In the questionnaire, we received the opinion that despite their contents on newest research activeties, the lectures were quite interesting and understandable.
