It is a result of the joint research of Associate Professor Kitano and Shimadzu at PARC.
The research of generating very low temperature plasma studied by Professor Kitano is applied to the detector which carries out photoionization of the sample of a gas chromatograph (for separation and analysis of compounds in the gaseous phase), and is expected as innovative technology.
