Prof. Kikuchi, a member of PARC, is awarded the 29th "Inoue Prize for Science" by the subject "molecular imaging by the design and composition of a chemical probe." Fluorescent probes and functional MRI probes were designed, synthesized and applied to in Vivo Imaging, and opened up life science research fields based on the basic chemical principle.
Prof. Kikuchi,  gave an invited lecture "Design, Synthesis and Biological Application of in Vivo Imaging Probes with Tunable Chemical Switches" in the Seventh Photonics Center Symposium "Nanophotonics in Asia 2012", 18th (Tue), 19th (Wed), September 2012, Kanazawa.
